Qué es BOOMCON 2012?
BOOMCON 2012 es el primer evento estilo comic-convención en Costa Rica. Nuestro show será el anfitrión de varios de los nombres más grandes de la industria de los comics, animación, cosplay, música y más, y miles de aficionados que podrán conocer y compartir 2 días completos de actividades, fotos, música, concursos y compras de productos relacionados de las distintas áreas presentes. Sea cual sea tu edad o profesión, ya sea que vengás disfrazado por completo o solamente como sos, estamos seguros que disfrutarás mucho en BOOMCON 2012

Puedo tomar fotos?
Son bienvenidos a tomar todas las fotos y video que quieran en el BOOMCON 2012 (las pueden subir a nuestro facebook o mandarlas por email para nosotros publicarlas en el sitio de internet), pero recueden ser educados y amables con la gente, si alguien no quiere salir en una foto o en un video (y esto incluye a todos los artistas) porfavor respeten su decisión.
Saldré en fotos o videos?
Es muy posible que si. BOOMCON 2012 atraerá a medios locales, e internacionales, además de los mismos compañeros de BOOMCON 2012 que estarán filmando el evento y los muchos fotógrafos individuales. Al asistir a BOOMCON 2012 estás dando tu consentimiento de aparecer en fotos y videos. Hey: a ratos y salís en youtube!
Los invitados firman autógrafos?
Por lo general en las actividades de este estilo los artistas invitados firman autógrafos en sus puestos y en la actividad VIP. Los artistas estarán dispuestos a firmarte cualquier comic, DVDs, juguetes y otros objetos coleccionables que respeten los derechos de autor, ninguno de los artistas firmará productos “pirateados”. Ahora bien hay que tener en consideraciómn que si bien se acostumbra firmar autógrafos si en algún momento los artistas deciden no hacerlo hay que respetar su decisión. Así que podés traer varios artículos, o comprar en BOOMCON 2012, para que te los firmen pero recordá que así como vos hay muchos fans más que quieren firmas, así que tené consideración a la hora de decidir cuántos artículos querés firmados!
Puedo llevar una maleta de mano o de halar conmigo?
Las carteras y mochilas de uso personal no tienen problema, si son maletas con ruedas y de gran tamaño no son permitidas ya que van a generar problemas de tránsito en los pasillos de la actividad.
Pueden cuidar a mis niños?
Lo sentimos! BOOMCON 2012 no provee servicios de guardería este año.
Recuerda ser considerado!
Porfavor apagá tu celular o ponelo en vibrador cuando estés en los paneles o cuando estés en una actividad musical. Si tenés que tomar una llamada porfavor hacelo fuera del área de actividad de panel o música, hay que ser considerado y educado con los que están exponiendo y los que están participando.

BOOMCON 2012 es organizado por Ilium S.A., un grupo nuevo en el mercado de las convenciones en Costa Rica; y es co-organizado por Bocetos CR, Calendario Cosplay y Comic Party. Y es traido a todos uds gracias al soporte y patrocinio de empresas como 104.7 Radio Hit (socio patrocinador)

What Is BOOMCON 2012?
BOOMCON 2012 is the first comic-convention styled activity in Costa Rica. Our show will host several of the greatest names in the industry of Comics, Animation, Cosplay, Music and more, and thousands of fans that will be able to meet and greet and share 2 full days of activities, photos, music, contests, and shopping of products related to the different areas present. Whatever your age and profession, whether you come over in full costume or not, we are sure you will have a great time at BOOMCON 2012

How Big Is BOOMCON 2012?

Can I Take Pictures?
You’re welcome to take still pictures and video at BOOMCON 2012 (Post them after to our Facebook page or send them via email to us so we can show the world after!); but be polite: all photography and recording is prohibited during screenings and musical participation. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.
Will I Be On Camera?
BOOMCON 2012 will attract local, national and international press including BOOMCON’s own filming crew. By attending BOOMCON 2012, you give your consent to be photographed and appear on camera. Who knows, you may end up on YouTube!
Will Guests Sign Autographs?
BOOMCON 2012 will feature many guests that will sign autographs in the Artist Alley and at the VIP activity. Guests will sign only officially licensed DVDs, comics, toys and other collectibles, but they will not sign bootleg merchandise. While some guests will sign autographs at no charge, this is ultimately up to the guests’ individual discretion. Please bring only one item to be signed during each autograph session and understand that guests may or may not post for photographs with fans.
Can I Bring My Pet?
If you have pets, please leave them at home. The Antigua Aduana will not allow into the building.
Can I Bring A Suitcase Or Handcart With Me?
Please be aware that handcarts, trolleys, oversized strollers, rolling luggage, and wheeled backpacks are not allowed in the Exhibition Hall.
Can You Watch My Kids?
Sorry. BOOMCON 2012 does not provide Child Care services at this time.
Remember To Be Nice!
Please turn your cell phones off or to vibrate when you’re in panel or screening rooms. If you must take or make a call, please step outside.

BOOMCON 2012 is operated by Ilium S.A., a new group in the convention scene in Costa Rica. And it is co-organized by Bocetos CR, Calendario Cosplay and Comic Party CR and is coming to you thanks to the support of Sponsors and Co-Sponsors such as 104.7 Radio Hit (partnering sponsor).
